WWE Raw: Roman Reigns sets up Bobby Lashley match at Extreme Rules
Last Updated: 03/07/18 8:58am
Roman Reigns will take on Bobby Lashley at Extreme Rules after the pair were unable to form a working alliance on Raw.
For the third week in a row, Reigns and Lashley were put into a match against The Revival and once again it did not go as planned.
At no point during the match did Reigns, who was feeling the effects of an earlier match against Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre, tag in Lashley, instead attempting to take on Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson single-handedly.
Technically it was a good strategy because The Revival lost the match by disqualification for a prolonged two-on-one attack on Reigns which saw the referee call for the bell.
Lashley did nothing to intervene, and walked away as the beatdown continued, never looking back to the ring.
Ziggler to face Rollins in Iron Man match
Seth Rollins will challenge for the Intercontinental title he lost to Dolph Ziggler when the pair go head-to-head in a 30-minute Iron Man match at Extreme Rules.
Rollins gained some momentum with a victory in a tag-team match over Ziggler and McIntyre alongside his Shield brother Roman Reigns.
Neither McIntyre or Reigns has been banned from ringside for the match, but with points being awarded for victories by all methods - including disqualification - both the champion and challenger will need to be wary of outside interference.
Strowman throws Owens in toilet
Kevin Owens thought he'd come up with the perfect strategy to avoid 'getting these hands' in his match against Braun Strowman - run away.
It was a solid plan until Owens made the bad decision to hide in a portable toilet backstage until the Monster Among Men had called off the chase.
But Strowman worked out where he was, taped the toilet closed and then launched it off the stage to leave Owens down and very much out.
Bayley and Banks head to counselling
Dr Shelby returned to WWE television as Sasha Banks and Bayley attempted to heal their recent rift, but the man who soothed Team Hell No several years ago found things more difficult with the two former women's champions.
A round of 'honesty theatre' - a therapeutic concept where the parties pretend to be each other - did not go well, with Banks and Bayley using it to take further verbal shots at each other.
Things didn't turn physical on this occasion, but you get the feeling it's only a matter of time before they do.
