The sore right foot of Golden State Warriors' center DeMarcus Cousins is not a serious ailment, an MRI exam confirmed Monday.

The team announced that the test results were clean after coach Steve Kerr had previously said the MRI was a precaution.

Cousins, who was ruled out of Monday night's 111-105 loss to San Antonio Spurs, is considered day-to-day. The Warriors play Tuesday night at Minnesota on a back-to-back, and are home against Indiana on Thursday.

Cousins has played in 21 games for Golden State - all starts - after missing about a calendar year because of a torn left Achilles tendon, suffered when he was with the New Orleans Pelicans. He is averaging 15.6 points and 7.9 rebounds for Golden State.

The four-time All-Star played Saturday in a win at Oklahoma City, posting 12 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks in 27 minutes.
