Houston Rockets guard James Harden has set a new NBA record with his dominant 50-point triple-double against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday.
The Rockets star helped to spark a 119-108 victory for his team over the Kings at Toyota Center, as he hit ten straight points in the fourth quarter.
Harden's 50 points, 11 rebounds and ten assists made it an NBA-record fifth 50-point triple-double for him.
He already held the record at four thanks to his performance in a 126-111 win against the Los Angeles Lakers in December, during which he notched 50 points, ten rebounds, and 11 assists.
The Beard has now extended his lead over the next closest player on the list, Russell Westbrook, to two clear games with at least 50 points and a triple double.
The red-hot MVP candidate recorded his third 50-point game in his last six outings with the display against Sacramento.
