Rudy Gay threw down a huge slam dunk against his old side, the Sacramento Kings

Rudy Gay might be in his 13th year in the league but he showed in the San Antonio Spurs' defeat to the Sacramento Kings that he's still capable of producing emphatic slam dunks.

The former NBA Slam Dunk Contest contestant was known earlier in his career for his prolific rim-rattling abilities but he's become a more savvy offensive operator in recent years.

Sunday night's scores

  • Charlotte Hornets 90-137 Golden State Warriors
  • Milwaukee Bucks 135-136 Atlanta Hawks (OT)
  • Dallas Mavericks 106-103 Oklahoma City Thunder
  • Sacramento Kings 113-106 San Antonio Spurs
  • Los Angeles Lakers 130-102 New Orleans Pelicans
  • Washington Wizards 95-90 Denver Nuggets
  • Memphis Grizzlies 96-113 Los Angeles Clippers

Now 32, we see fewer slams in his overall repertoire but the old magic is still present and he proved that with this dunk towards the end of the second quarter in San Antonio's 113-106 defeat at the AT&T Center.

Gay powered past Nemanja Bjelica and and rose up to fire it through the rim against his former team.
