The Chicago Bulls have sent small forward Justin Holiday to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for MarShon Brooks and fellow guard Wayne Selden plus 2019 and 2020 second-round draft picks, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and the Chicago Tribune.
In mid-December, the Grizzlies thought they had a three-team deal in place that would have sent Brooks to the Phoenix Suns.
However, Phoenix believed it was acquiring Dillon Brooks from Memphis rather than MarShon Brooks, so the trade that also involved the Washington Wizards was reworked and ultimately was completed without either Brooks being included.
Brooks, who turns 30 on January 26, is averaging 6.6 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists through 29 games this season and is headed to his sixth franchise in five NBA seasons.
Selden, 24, has averages of 5.4 points, 1.1 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 32 games.
Holiday, 29, is the brother of New Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday and Indiana Pacers guard Aaron Holiday. He is producing 11.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 38 games.
The latter two figures are career highs for the seventh-year veteran, while the points average trails only his 12.2 from last season, his first with the Bulls.
