Giannis Antetokounmpo produced a career-best playoff performance to help the Milwaukee Bucks close out their first-round playoff series against the Detroit Pistons.
Antetokounmpo poured in 41 points as Milwaukee earned their first playoff series victory in 18 seasons by completing a 4-0 sweep of Detroit Pistons with a 127-104 Game 4 win
The All-Star forward stuffed the stat sheet with nine rebounds, three assists and four blocks for the top-seeded Bucks, who will now play fourth-seeded Boston in the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
Antetokounmpo produced highlight plays on the offensive and defensive ends as the Bucks romped to victory.
In the opening minute of the second quarter, he utilised an Ersan Ilyasova screen at the three-point line to roar into the lane and soar above Detroit defender Thon Maker to ram home a tomahawk dunk.
An even more spectacular finish followed with two minutes remaining in the first half. Giannis drove into the paint and elevated to the rim for a dunk, absorbing contact from Pistons center Andre Drummond and drawing a foul, before adjusting the ball in mid-air and manufacturing an improvised fallaway finish that elicited awed gasps from the crowd.
Antetokounmpo also produced a highlight defensive play with 9:14 remaining in the second quarter.
Pistons guard Ish Smith gathered a possession following a Bucks miss and dribbled the length of the court. His hopes of a coast-to-coast finish were extinguished when, as he lofted a finger roll towards the Bucks basket, Antetokounmpo rose high above the rim to deny him, swatting Smith's shot into the crowd.
