NBA Sundays: Watch Lakers visit Hawks - via live stream on web, mobile or YouTube

Two NBA playoff teams from last season meet as the Los Angeles Lakers visit the Atlanta Hawks; the game is free to watch on our live stream below

The Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta Hawks both began their NBA campaigns with aspirations of going deep into the playoffs, but both find themselves facing a battle just to reach the post-season as they enter Sunday's matchup.

The Lakers' major off-season acquisition Russell Westbrook has so far failed to gel with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, whose injury absence has exacerbated their chemistry issues.

However, with Davis back from a knee injury that kept him out for 17 games, the Lakers are trying to finally build some momentum.

The Hawks are failing to back up a surprise run to last season's Eastern Conference finals, but a five-game winning-streak has brought them back into contention for a playoff place.

Hawks point guard Trae Young will be playing with the added confidence of having been named an All-Star starter earlier this week.

LeBron and Durant named captains for All-Star Game

LeBron James and Kevin Durant have once again been confirmed as the two captains for the NBA's All-Star Game, with two first-timers named among the 10 starters announced for next month's contest.

Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant and Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins will both make their first appearance in the mid-season showcase, held in Cleveland on February 20.

The pair were selected as starters from the Western Conference, led by James of the Los Angeles Lakers, with Wiggins' Warriors team-mate Steph Curry and Denver Nuggets player Nikola Jokic completing that line-up.

Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks and DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls were Eastern Conference players chosen to be starters alongside Durant.
