Golden State Warriors wait for news on Stephen Curry injury

Stephen Curry attacks off the dribble for Golden State

Two-time NBA Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry is scheduled to undergo an MRI exam, after picking up an injury on Thursday.

Curry suffered a left adductor strain during the third quarter of a loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.

He was injured with 6:50 to go in the third, when he was defending against a Milwaukee break, but stayed in the game until 3:41 remained in the quarter, when he left the court and headed to the locker room.

Team-mate Kevin Durant told Bay Area radio station 95.7 The Game: "He seemed good to me.

"I've got to talk to him tomorrow, see how he's doing.

"But hopefully he's doing well."

Curry scored 10 points on 5-of-14 shooting in 26 minutes during the Warriors' 134-111 loss, a result that ended Golden State's eight-game winning streak.
