The Washington Wizards are open to trading John Wall after the All-Star point guard was fined for a verbal attack on coach Scott Brooks during a recent practice session, according to reports.

With the Wizards 11th in the NBA's Eastern Conference despite possessing considerably more talent than the sides above them, the team's front office are also said to be trading all other players on the roster, including Wall's fellow All-Star guard Bradley Beal.

The situation in the capital became even more toxic when Wall turned on coach Scott Brooks, for which he has been fined an undisclosed amount, according to ESPN.

The outburst was said to be in response to Brooks and Wizards forward Jeff Green urging Wall to raise the level of intensity in practice.

Although the 28-year-old apologised to Brooks minutes after the incident, and his team-mates the following day, action was still taken.

Sources told ESPN that Washington still hopes to reshape their roster around Wall and Beal, but the lack of interest in other players, such as Otto Porter Jr. and Kelly Oubre Jr. has left them considering all options.
