Houston Rockets' Chris Paul out for at least two weeks with hamstring injury

Houston Rockets All-Star guard Chris Paul will be sidelined for at least two to three weeks with a hamstring injury.

Davis grabbed the back of his leg during the Rockets' 101-99 loss to the Miami Heat on Thursday - he had played 12 minutes and scored four points.

Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said after the game that Paul would be out for "some time".

A scan revealed on Friday a Grade 2 strain but ruled out a serious injury and the Rockets said they would re-evaluate him in two weeks.

According to ESPN, Paul has sat out a total of 19 games [regular season and postseason combined] because of five hamstring injuries in his career.

A right hamstring strain kept him out of the sixth and seventh games of the Western Conference finals last season, and the Golden State Warriors won both of those contests to eliminate the Rockets.

Paul is averaging 15.6 points, eight assists and four rebounds per game.
