Stephen Curry drained 10 three-pointers as the Warriors beat the Kings 127-123 in a game where the team combined for a record 41 three-pointers

Stephen Curry hit 10 three-pointers on the way to scoring a game-high 42 points as the Golden State Warriors outduelled the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.

The defending NBA champions and their California neighbours combined for an NBA single-game record 41 three-pointers as the Warriors eventually prevailed 127-123.

Curry led the way for Golden State, hitting 14-of-26 field goals, including 10-of-20 from three-point land.

The two-time MVP was red-hot from long-range, opening his account with a pull-up three-ball over Willie Cauley-Stein early in the first quarter. He would hit three more, including a deep bomb from well beyond the arc, before half-time.

Curry continued to connect in the second half, sprinting around screen to nail catch-and-shoot threes from both sides of the key.

He opened the fourth quarter with his seventh trey to pull the Warriors back with four points of the Kings and tied the game with his eighth from way downtown with 7:53 left in the game. Number nine gave Golden State a 114-113 lead with 4:57 remaining before Curry hit double figures from downtown with his 10th three with 3:01 remaining.
