Steph Curry scored 26 points and dished out six assists as he led the Warriors to victory over the Pacers, making him the first player in history to make 200+ threes within the first 40 games of a season

Stephen Curry continues to rewrite the record books.

Monday night's dismantling of the Indiana Pacers saw the Golden State Warriors ease to their 11th straight win and was itself paced by Curry's first-half brilliance.

The 30-year-old hit all five of his three-point attempts and scored 23 of his 26 points in the opening two quarters and in doing so he became the first player in NBA history to make at least 200 three-pointers in seven consecutive seasons.

His 1,960 scores from beyond the arc is more than all but nine players in NBA history.

And yet Curry said he feels he and his team can continue to improve.

"I feel like we can," he said after the Pacers win. "We're not playing perfect basketball, by any stretch, but we're playing consistent, focused basketball and we're still working out some kinks with rotations and stuff like that."

Coach Steve Kerr said of his man: "He has this skill set you can't really fathom. It doesn't matter time, score he's always one shot away from getting on fire."
