Dennis Smith Jr. set up DeAndre Jordan for a thunderous alley-oop as the duo made their New York Knicks debuts in a loss against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Second-year point guard Smith and veteran center Jordan both arrived at Madison Square Garden in last week's blockbuster trade that saw Kristaps Porzingis leave New York for the Dallas Mavericks.
Although they were unable to prevent the Knicks' losing streak being extended to 13 games, Smith and Jordan brought some excitement to the Garden crowd with one of the plays of the game.
Early in the second quarter the duo ran a pick-and-roll, which ended with Smith floating the ball up to the rim for Jordan to hammer home with one hand, drawing an enthusiastic reaction from the crowd.
Jordan ended the game with a double-double as he had 12 points and 12 rebounds, while Smith scored 8 points and dished out six assists.
