Bradley Beal made a buzzer-beating three-pointer to force overtime during the Washington Wizards' loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night.
Beal had 36 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists during a lively encounter in Minnesota, as the Wizards came up short in the extra period to fall 135-130.
However, the All-Star guard produced a memorable moment, stepping back to splash in a three-pointer as time expired.
He had made a curious decision moments earlier by making an uncontested layup with 3.5 seconds remaining with the Wizards trailing 119-116.
Derrick Rose sank a pair of free throws to reestablish Minnesota's three-point lead, but Beal fully redeemed himself.
The Timberwolves' win was somewhat overshadowed by a knee injury suffered late in the game by Karl-Anthony Towns, who led all scorers with 40 points.
