Dunk of the Night went to James Johnson as he scored for Miami Heat in their game against New York Knicks

James Johnson rose above Luke Kornet to finish with authority in the Miami Heat's win over the New York Knicks on Saturday.

In Dwyane Wade's last appearance in New York, the Heat prevailed by 100-92 and 10-year NBA veteran Johnson slammed the ball through the hoop.

Saturday night's scores

  • Sacramento Kings 108-119 Houston Rockets
  • Boston Celtics 96-110 Brooklyn Nets
  • Orlando Magic 121-116 Indiana Pacers
  • Portland Trail Blazers 90-99 Detroit Pistons
  • Philadelphia 76ers 118-109 Minnesota Timberwolves
  • Cleveland Cavaliers 108-132 Los Angeles Clippers
  • Toronto Raptors 124-101 Chicago Bulls
  • Miami Heat 100-92 New York Knicks
  • Memphis Grizzlies 120-115 Phoenix Suns

The basket came towards the end of the second quarter following a nice dish from Goran Dragic and once Johnson got in the lane there was no stopping him.

The 32-year-old finished the game with five points, three rebounds and two assists and there was no doubt that the jam over Knicks center Cornet was the highlight of the game.
