James Harden hit a deep three-pointer to beat the buzzer at the end of the third quarter as the Houston Rockets cruised past the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night.
The reigning MVP flirted with a triple-double as he posted 30 points on 10-for-14 shooting with 13 rebounds and nine assists in only 29 minutes.
The Rockets set an NBA record with 27 three-pointers, going 27 of 57, and Harden may well have had the pick of them.
With the clock running down at the end of the third period, he accelerated into the Suns' half, before pulling up well behind the three-point line to drain his shot with 0.2 seconds left remaining.
Harden, who has scored fewer than 25 points only eight times this season, had 16 with just under five minutes remaining in the third. He poured in 14 down the stretch of that period, before watching the fourth from the bench with the other starters.
The Rockets' 149-113 triumph was their sixth straight victory, all by double digits and by an average of 25.8 points per game. The Rockets close their regular season at Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
