Utah Jazz guard Ricky Rubio will miss 'approximately two weeks' due to hamstring injury

Utah Jazz point guard Ricky Rubio will miss approximately two weeks with a hamstring injury, The Athletic reported on Tuesday.

The entity also reported that forward Thabo Sefolosha (hamstring) will be sidelined 10 to 12 days. Both players underwent MRI exams on Tuesday and the scans came back clean.

Rubio injured his hamstring during the first quarter of Monday's 114-102 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. He scored nine points on 4-of-5 shooting in the first 4:37 before exiting with the injury.

The 28-year-old Rubio is averaging 12.8 points and 6.2 assists in 40 games this season.

Sefolosha, 34, suffered his injury in Saturday's game against the Detroit Pistons. He is averaging 3.0 points in 26 games.

Backup guard Dante Exum (ankle) also will remain sidelined when the Jazz host the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. He is expected to miss about two weeks. Exum also was injured against the Pistons.
