James Harden erupted for 58 points and 10 assists as the Houston Rockets rallied from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Miami Heat.
Harden connected on 16 of his 32 shots, including 8-of-18 from three-point range and a perfect 18-of-18 from the free throw line, to inspire the Rockets to a 121-118 comeback win.
It was the seventh career 50-point, 10-assist game of Harden's career.
Harden nailed two early three-pointers as he posted 14 points in the first quarter. He added 10 more in the second before heating up for a 17-point third quarter.
But his most telling impact came in the final period. Miami grabbed a 113-103 lead on a Goran Dragic three-pointer with 6:18 left in the game, but the Rockets responded with a 14-0 run to take the lead. During that stretch, Harden produced a three-point play and two driving lay-ups before Chris Paul secured the lead with two free throws at the 3:27 mark.
Harden then made a driving lay-up with 2:46 remaining for his 57th and 58th points before Paul sealed the win for Houston.
