Derrick Jones Jr continued to bolster his reputation as a spectacular in-game dunker with a soaring slam during the Miami Heat's win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Jones Jr has already served notice of his highlight-reel dunking flair with a high-flying finish against the Atlanta Hawks on March 10.
He emphatically proved that was no fluke with another spectacular slam as the Heat overcame the Thunder 116-107 on Monday night.
Small forward Jones contributed just eight points in his 17 minutes on the court yet his first-quarter finish at the rim meant he left an indelible mark on the game.
With 4:37 remaining in the opening period, Heat guard Goran Dragic drove baseline but his progress was checked under the Thunder basket by Steven Adams.
However, Dragic spotted a wide-open Jones Jr at the three-point line and whipped a left-handed pass into the path of 'Airplane Mode'. Having rolled down an unguarded runway to collect the ball on the move, Jones Jr immediately took flight, rising unopposed to ram home a powerful two-handed slam.
