Kyle Kuzma drained a buzzer-beater from halfcourt in the Los Angeles Lakers' loss to the Brooklyn Nets.
The Lakers fell to a 111-106 defeat, their fifth in succession, are were officially eliminated from postseason contention. They will miss the playoffs for a franchise-record sixth straight season.
Kuzma provided one of the few bright moments of the night for the Lakers with 3:09 remaining in the first quarter.
With just 2.6 seconds left on the shot clock, Kuzma received an inbounds pass at his own free throw line and had little option other than to throw up a halfcourt heave.
It paid off.
Kuzma took two dribbles and weaved around two Nets defenders before launching a shot from the halfcourt line. The ball swished through Brooklyn's net as the shot-clock buzzer sounded, pulling the Lakers level at 20-20.
