The teams ended regulation tied at 122-122 and Young believed he'd made the decisive basket with 6.8 seconds remaining in the extra session.

However, Milwaukee's Sterling Brown, who scored a season-high 27 points, had put the Bucks ahead with 1.1 seconds remaining with a driving basket.

Undeterred, Atlanta attempted to find high-flying forward John Collins close to the Bucks basket with a floated in-bounds pass but it was swatted away by Bucks big man Brook Lopez.

Unfortunately for Milwaukee, Lopez's swipe directed the ball straight to Young who improvised a put-back that bobbled on the Bucks' rim before falling through the hoop as time expired.
