Malik Monk soared for a spectacular alley-oop slam in the Charlotte Hornets' loss to the Utah Jazz.
Monk had a quiet night off the bench, scoring just six points in almost 25 minutes as the Hornets wasted a 47-point effort from their star guard Kemba Walker and fell to a 111-102 defeat that all-but extinguished their fading playoff hopes.
Monk was able to provide a highlight play as he skied to the rim for a spectacular finish.
With one minute remaining in the first quarter, Hornets guard Devonte' Graham stole possession from Utah big man Ekpe Udoh.
Graham stormed upcourt and into the Jazz's half, lofting a floated pass high above the rim as he crossed the three-point line.
Monk raced along the baseline and soared to meet the ball, collecting it in mid-air with his right hand and, in one motion, ramming home a resounding slam.
