England play South Africa while Australia meet New Zealand in decider
Both matches live on Sky Sports Mix from 4.30am on Sunday
Sunday 4 September 2016 12:53, UK
Australia face New Zealand for inaugural Quad Series title while England face South Africa with both chasing a first victory of the tournament.
Tracey Neville's team have lost both of their matches so far, kicking off with defeat in Hamilton against the Silver Ferns before an improved display in Adelaide saw them keep pace with the Aussie Diamonds for the first half before the world's number one ranked team ran away with the game in the third quarter.
The Roses could make changes again as they seek their first win of the event against a South Africa side that also suffered defeats in their opening two games with Neville looking to assess her options before the three-match series against Jamaica in November and December
Captain Ama Agbeze, Stacey Francis, Beth Codben, Jade Clarke, Jo Harten and Serena Guthrie have all started both games so far and Hannah Joseph, Ellie Cardwell, Summer Artman, Geva Mentor and Jodie Gibson could all be given a chance from the start while Helen Housby could return in attack.
Both teams will be desperate to end on a high as the tournament reaches its conclusion in Melbourne with the first champions to be decided when Australia and New Zealand meet in the second match of the day at the Margaret Court Arena.
Sell-out crowds in Auckland, Hamilton and Adelaide have been a feature of the event so far and that is again the case for Sunday's action, which gets underway with England's game against the Proteas which is live on Sky Sports Mix from 4.30am.
And immediately afterwards from 6.30am on the same channel you can see Australia and New Zealand in a repeat of last year's World Cup final, when the Kiwis will hope to dampen the home crowd and cause a mini-surprise by taking the trophy.
It was Australia who claimed the gold medal in Sydney, edging out their Antipodean neighbours 58-53 and the Silver Ferns will hope for revenge in the first ever playing of the event.
The Quad Series has been a huge success and the event is already slated for a return in 2017 with the big three from the Southern Hemisphere heading to England.
