Team Bath continued their Vitality Superleague season with a 58-38 victory over Yorkshire Jets on Monday night.

An impressive Team Bath, led by player-of-the-match Eboni Beckford-Chambers, were on top from the start to see off the Jets in Sheffield but there was room for optimism for Anna Carter's team after an improved performance from the opening game of the season when they were sunk 65-34 on Super Saturday by Loughborough Lightning.

Bath, who began with victory over Surrey Storm at the weekend, had the better of a tightly contested opening period despite the Jets hard work and the visitors ruthless attacking had them four ahead at the break.

Jets showed more promise in the second quarter but too many errors were punished by their ruthless opponents who seized on them at every opportunity. Despite the improvements, the home side went into half-time with a 10-point deficit.

The third quarter saw changes for Jets, including Du Toit moving from goal keeper to shooter, but they failed to have the desired effect and it was a punishing 15 minutes for Team Bath who rarely looked like missing under the post and pulled into a 16-shot lead.
