Manchester Thunder are three points clear at the top of the Netball Superleague after a 64-56 win away at Surrey Storm.

An attacking masterclass on Saturday edged Thunder closer to the title, with Ellie Cardwell scoring 41 of 43 attempts and Helen Housby completing 23 of 27.

Sara Bayman took home the player-of-the-match prize as Thunder extended their advantage ahead of Hertfordshire Mavericks.

Team Bath secured a 55-54 win against Mavericks, jolting their title charge and handing Thunder the opportunity to coast further clear.

Yorkshire Jets earned their first win in 13 Superleague matches this season with a 45-44 win against Celtic Dragons, who are now just three points off the bottom of the table.
