Wasps Netball go top of the Netball Superleague
Sunday 25 February 2018 15:19, UK
Wasps Netball won by the biggest margin of any team so far this Superleague season against UWS Sirens on Thursday.
Wasps won 69-37 to continue their 100 per cent start after three games, and move top of the table.
"The way we're playing at the moment we're a tough team to beat," said Wasps netball director Tamsin Greenway. "Some of the netball we're playing defensively and the amount of turnovers we're getting mean we're giving ourselves plenty of opportunities to capitalise on.
"George Fisher was absolutely outstanding tonight and Amy Flanagan was fantastic, Amy is really an unsung hero for our team.
"Teams aren't going to want to come and play us here at the Ricoh Arena. The fans were brilliant again, I love that we have chants going for the girls, it makes everything so much more enjoyable out on the court."
Vitality Superleague is back on your screens on Monday night when Loughborough Lightning host Manchester Thunder, coverage is underway on Sky Sports Action, Mix and Main Event from 6.45pm
