England face South Africa and Australia face New Zealand on Sunday morning as the latest Quad Series champions will be decided.

Lisa Alexander's Australia are in the box seat after wins over South Africa on opening weekend and a revenge victory over the Roses on Wednesday morning.

It means the Diamonds sit top of the table with maximum points and a victory over New Zealand in Melbourne will secure a fourth Quad Series triumph.

However, a defeat for the Aussies will open the door for both England and New Zealand and bring the title down to goal difference - Australia go into the weekend with a goal difference of +22, New Zealand +11 and England +8

Tracey Neville's Roses, chasing a first-ever Quad Series victory, face South Africa in the opening game and a big win would improve their chances and pile the pressure on Australia or the Silver Ferns.

With their destiny out of their own hands, it remains to be seen whether Neville will make changes or stick with the Roses squad that were beaten by five goals in Newcastle.

That defeat, the first meeting between the teams since England's gold-medal triumph earlier this year, followed a record-breaking 13-goal win against New Zealand last Saturday.

A knee injury saw Jo Harten replaced by Natalie Haythornthwaite for the game with Australia and it remains to be seen whether she will be fit enough to bolster the shooting circle.

Captain Ama Agbeze and Jodie Gibson impressed from the bench on Wednesday while Kadeen Corbin came on at shooter - but Neville has largely stuck with the same squad over the last 12 months.

New Zealand will hope for a similar display to their 24-goal win over South Africa which ended a four-game losing streak, while the Diamonds will hope for a more consistent performance to go with a third win of the series.
