Tamsin Greenway debates five talking points from last weekend in the Netball Superleague...
It was a really defensive game and both teams put each other under huge pressure. It was the first time we saw Wasps rattled all season - that was down to Mavericks' defence. Razia Quashie and Jo Trip were outstanding.
You know Rachel Dunn will score shed-loads so how do you stop that? It was a physical game but Mavericks' defensive unit had clearly done their homework because they caused problems for Wasps' decision-making.
It made life really difficult for Jade Clarke and Bongiwe Msomi.
Wasps moved two major changes - Fran Williams to Goal Defence and Hannah Knight to Goal Keeper. That was a great decision. Knight tied up George Fisher.
Wasps brought on Sophia Candappa, who then won Player of the Match. She changes the timing.
This game showed what teams can do to Wasps. But how impressive were Wasps?
Scotland vs Wales. There is a lot of history here.
Celtic turned things around in the first quarter. Last year they struggled to find a win but changed the coach and some of the personnel - they brought back Chelsea Lewis - and it has made a real difference.
Celtic won 50-46. This is what we need - tight and competitive games.
Two and three goal games are tight but there was a blowout result too. What a turnaround for Bath who beat Loughborough 75-50!
They absolutely destroyed them. I figured Eboni Osuru-Brown must have been back, but she wasn't. The reality is that when a team under-performs in this league they get punished.
Rachel Shaw was outstanding and Serena Guthrie led the troops. But a 25-goal difference, when a team of Loughborough's experience are playing, is not what you expect.
London Pulse have a unit and are pushing teams but that wasn't the case against Surrey Storm, who won 69-49.
Pulse really missed Ama Agbeze. But to get beaten by 20 goals is a big deal. This was an absolute blowout.
Pulse would have thought: 'we need to win this'. But this result is the difference between finishing in the bottom two, or challenging for the top four.
Pulse will be frustrated. Coaches talk about consistency but Pulse have been forced to make changes due to injuries so it has been really difficult.
Wasps are under a huge amount of pressure because they're going for a third consecutive title. They have been impressive.
So have Storm. As a unit they have found consistency - they look happy, structured and confident. That's a sign of a good culture.
The other team are Celtic Dragons due to their turnaround. Last year they were the whipping horses but have recruited very well. They have stepped up.
