Severn Stars and Celtic Dragons secured the final spots in the British Fast5 All-Stars Championship leading into the final weekend of the regular Vitality Netball Superleague season.

They will join Manchester Thunder, Team Bath, Loughborough Lightning, Saracens Mavericks, Surrey Storm and defending champions Wasps at the Copper Box Arena on Saturday October 12.

Stars enjoyed success over Storm on Easter Sunday and have qualified with a game to spare, despite defeat to Mavericks in their last match.

Dragons' victories over Sirens and Storm helped them to make the cut for the Fast5 All-Stars for the first time, as they guaranteed themselves a top-eight finish ahead of the final round.

The British Fast5 All-Stars Championship features 12-minute matches, an all-star five-point line and a Golden Buzzer Power Play.

Wasps took home the spoils last year, with Rachel Dunn named the player of the tournament after her shooting masterclass. The competition also saw legendary Australian defender Sharni Layton taking to court for Surrey Storm.

Unlike traditional netball, teams are made up of five rather than seven players and shooters can put long-bombs up to their hearts' content with both three-point and five-point zones.

The Golden Buzzer allows coaches to select a two-minute period in which all points will be doubled and the whole lot will create a pulsating afternoon of netball when the competition returns later in the year.
