New Zealand will enter Sunday's crunch clash against Australia on a two-game winning streak after toppling Trinidad and Tobago at the Netball World Cup.
The Calypso Girls' Rhonda John-Davis became the highest Test capped player at the tournament with 150 appearances yet couldn't prevent the Silver Ferns running out 74-38 winners.
New Zealand coach Wai Taumaunu made wholesale changes to her team at half-time and the tactic worked to perfection, allowing her team to extend their 11-goal lead.
They built a 56-33 lead as Trinidad and Tobago committed 11 turnovers in the third quarter. New Zealand cranked up the pressure in the final period and were able to pull clear with a total of 36 goals.
Silver Ferns' Maria Tutaia said: "I think that’s a luxury we have in our team is that we’ve got such great, viable options and at any given time we’re able to make those changes and make it really seamless.
"At the minute we’re all fighting but it’s healthy and we want the best for each other. Whoever is out there on court we will be supporting."
New Zealand next face Australia who have also won both of their opening games including Saturday's dominant victory over Barbados.
