Great Britain's 22 unveiled with Steve Fone a travelling reserve

Paul Thompson has selected 18 Elite League players in his Great Britain team for the forthcoming World Championship in Innsbruck, Austria. Team GB's 22 will have a pre-tournament training camp in Coventry from April 8 to 11 before heading to Austria to take on the hosts, Poland, Kazakhstan, Korea and the Netherlands between April 13 and 21. Belfast Giants' Canadian-born defenceman Shane Johnson's participation is reliant on whether he receives a British passport in time. Hull Stingray Luke Boothroyd has been named as a replacement in case Johnson is unavailable. Milton Keynes Lightning forward Gary Clarke is the only representative from the English Premier League. And Coventry Blaze goaltender Steve Fone will also travel as a reserve with the squad, but will only be eligible to play if Stevie Lyle or Stephen Murphy is injured. GB squad:
