Cincinnati Bengals matched their best start to a season as a 34-21 win at Buffalo Bills made it six straight victories.

Three touchdown passes from Andy Dalton helped the Bengals equal a start they have managed just twice before, in 1975 and 1988.

The key period came early in the second half as the visitors scored 17 points from their first three possessions to open a 34-14 lead and take charge of what had been a close game.

Buffalo kept star receiver AJ Green quiet, but Dalton looked elsewhere as Marvin Jones, Tyler Eifert and Jeremy Hill benefited from the quarterback's passes.

He finished 22 of 33 for 243 yards, while opposite number EJ Manuel, starting in place of the injured Tyrod Taylor, finished 28 of 42 for 263 yards with a touchdown and interception.
