Olympic champion Amy Williams has branded the experience of striking gold at the Vancouver Games as "absolutely amazing".

Olympic champion Amy Williams has branded the experience of striking gold at the Vancouver Games as "absolutely amazing".
Williams claimed gold in the skeleton last week to become Britain's first solo Winter Olympics champion in 30 years.
The 27-year-old from Bath was the only Briton to win a medal at the XXI Winter Games.
Amazing
"I don't think I've got a sentence to describe the feeling - it's absolutely amazing," said Williams.
"I can't believe it's real having the gold medal around my neck. It's everything I'd dreamt of.
"It was amazing to be part of Team GB from the first moment of getting into the camp.
"We were united together and there was such a good vibe and excitement for the Games.
"You're in your own world in the athletes' village. We're upset it's finished but it's nice to get back to life.
"I'm excited about getting to Bath, seeing my friends and family and taking the medal back to them."
Dominant
Williams, who carried the flag for Britain at the closing ceremony in Vancouver, dominated the skeleton event, leading from her first run to win by a decisive 0.56 seconds.
She will now take centre-stage over the next few days as she attends a whirlwind of press conferences, receptions and a victory parade in her home town of Bath.
"I now have quite a few meetings and interviews," she added.
"I've got a busy week ahead. I'm looking forward to getting back to Bath."
