Raymond van Barneveld threw the first perfect leg in tournament history last year, with his nine-darter coming in a win over fellow Dutchman Jelle Klaasen.
14-time world champion Phil Taylor would love to emulate Barney this year and with so many top stars in action there should be a decent chance of darting perfection being achieved again at the Alexandra Palace.

Phil Taylor is Sky Bet's 1/3 favourite to win his fifteenth world darts title and it's 25/1 that he wins the title without dropping a set.
Taylor takes on Colin Monk in the first round and the 'Mad Monk' is 16/1 for a shock victory. 2/5 is on offer for Taylor to whitewash Monk.
Sky Bet's darts betting spokesman Craig Ibbotson said: "Taylor is now 1/3 for another world title. After a year that has seen him win every major ranking tournament, it is hard to see who can stop him.
"Wade, Barneveld and Anderson look the most likely to topple the darting legend but with all three falling in the opposite half of the draw to Taylor, it does look an easy path to the final for 'The Power'."
