Team Northumbria produced a fine display to beat Surrey Storm 44-32 in round 15 of the FIAT Netball Superleague. Goal Shooter Jatjinda Kambatuku led the scoring with 26 points and Goal Attack Olivia Mason chipped in with 18 points. Surrey were weakened by the absence of their England internationals, only Rhianne McHale with 22 points able to generate a scoring threat. "For the first time ever the girls were able to take the game away in the fourth quarter," said Team Northumbria coach Tracey Neville. "They have never had the confidence to do that before and it's a great feeling to have. "We were the better team on the day and we had good structure up and down the court. We were able to put Storm under pressure and convert our turnover ball."
