Gleghorne scores on debut, Jackson grabs two goals
Mark Gleghorne scored a goal on his debut while East Grinstead team-mate Ashley Jackson added two more to lift Great Britain to a 3-1 win over Belgium in Antwerp.
Gleghorne came off the bench to get the opener in the 13th minute, having had to wait through an 11-month injury battle to make his first appearance at this level.
Jackson then scored with penalty corners in the 19th and 45th minutes before Tom Boon got one back for the hosts before the hour mark.
The two teams meet again on Thursday, and Great Britain coach Jason Lee said: "Both Ken Forbes and Mark Gleghorne did well tonight. It was great for Mark to get his goal having waited so long to make his debut.
"Overall I'm pretty pleased and looking forward to tomorrow."
