Thursday's meeting at Musselburgh has been abandoned

Thursday's meeting at Musselburgh has been abandoned due to a frozen track.

Officials called a 2pm inspection after temperatues dipped at the track overnight, leaving parts of the course frozen.

Clerk of the course Harriet Graham reported that to still be the case, with little prospect of sufficient improvement before racing.

She tweeted: "Racing abandoned, course frozen and temperatures due to drop to -3 and only rise to 2."
