Castleford continued their try-scoring exploits to secure a 20th win of the season with a 24-32 victory over Catalans. Jy Hitchcox opened and closed the scoring for the Tigers but it was his second effort that caught Phil's eye alongside a 90-metre solo effort from his team-mate Zak Hardaker.

Warrington produced a strong second-half display to claim a 22-6 derby victory over Widnes at the Halliwell Jones Stadium. The Wolves trailed 4-6 at the break but four tries after the restart including this score from Kevin Brown helped secure the points.

Elsewhere, Wigan Warriors whitewashed a youthful Leeds outfit 34-0, the pick of the tries coming from winger Tom Davies and his athletic finish in the corner.

Sunday saw St Helens end opponents Wakefield's hopes of a top-four finish with an impressive 41-16 rout at the Beaumont Legal Stadium where Tommy Makinson's 21st-minute effort helped Saints to just their second away victory this campaign.
