Liam Sutcliffe to miss the rest of the season with a ruptured ligament

Super League leaders Leeds Rhinos will be without Liam Sutcliffe for the rest of the season because the young stand-off has suffered a serious knee injury.
Sutcliffe, who has only missed four games so far this season, is a rising star of the sport and his loss is a major blow to the Rhinos.
The 20-year-old suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament injury during last Sunday’s victory over Hull and he will undergo surgery next Thursday.
He is seen as the successor to Kevin Sinfield when the former England captain switches to rugby union at the end of the year but will be on the sidelines as Leeds challenge for silverware this season.
Leeds coach Brian McDermott said: "It is desperately disappointing news for Liam, especially given the form he has been in this season.
"He will get the best possible treatment from our medical team and I am sure he will return next season stronger for the experience."
Sutcliffe’s half-back partner Danny McGuire was also injured on Sunday but he has been cleared of a broken ankle and could return for the big clash with champions St Helens next Friday.
