North Queensland Cowboys reached their second NRL grand final with a 32-12 victory over Melbourne Storm.
Justin O'Neill, Michael Morgan and Gavin Cooper each scored twice to set up an all-Queensland final - the first of its kind - against Brisbane Broncos in Sydney on October 4.
The Cowboys overturned an early 12-10 deficit to score 22 unanswered points and run out easy winners.
Cowboys half-back Johnathan Thurston, who landed four conversions, finished the match on the sidelines with a sore groin, but he expects to be fit for next weekend.
"It's just a little bit of a cork to the groin, nothing too serious," he said.
The Broncos beat Sydney Roosters 31-12 in the other semi-final on Friday.
"It's good to see two Queensland sides there at the big dance," added Thurston. "Brisbane were impressive last night, we will have to play our best football to beat them."
The Broncos have won six previous premierships, while the Cowboys have never won the title and their own previous appearance in the grand final was a decade ago, in 2005.
