Catalans Dragons have agreed to release reserve-team coach Cyrille Gossard from his contract for personal reasons.

The former Dragons back rower, who made 84 Super League appearances from 2006 to 2012, took charge of St Esteve XIII Catalan in 2014 following the departure of Englishman Steve Deakin.

Catalans reserve-team chairman Gerard Caillis said: "We are, of course, disappointed but Cyrille had a professional opportunity out of the club and we understand his decision.
