Australian forward Mitchell Dodds, restricted by injury to just two substitute appearances for Warrington, has re-joined his old club Brisbane Broncos for 2017.

It means the 27-year-old prop could face the Wolves in his first match back with Wayne Bennett's side, who will travel to the Halliwell Jones Stadium for the World Club Series on February 18.

Dodds, who played 75 games for the Broncos before moving to Super League after the 2015 NRL Grand Final, missed the start of the 2016 season with a hand injury and broke a leg against Catalans Dragons in March.
