France international Remi Casty has been re-appointed as captain of Catalans Dragons for the new Super League season.

The 32-year-old long-serving prop first led his club in 2012 and 2013 and was re-appointed to the role following his return from a brief spell with Sydney Roosters in 2015.

Dragons head coach Steve McNamara said: "Whilst we have many experienced players and leaders within our team, Remi is the logical choice.

"His work within our organisation, both on and off the field, whilst I have been here has been exemplary."
