Former Viking duo head to Leigh
Leigh Centurions have added former Widnes team-mates Toa Kohe-Love and Gareth Price to their recent capture of Denis Moran.
The 30-year old Kohe-Love, who enjoyed Super League stints with Warrington, Hull and Bradford before helping Widnes reach the National League One Grand Final in his first season, has agreed a one-year deal.
"Toa is another great signing," said football manager Darren Shaw. "He's only just turned 30 so has plenty of time left in him."
Welsh international prop forward Price, 27, who began his career at St Helens, returns to Leigh after a five-year absence on a two-year contract.
The Centurions have also signed centre or second row Mark Roberts, 24, from Halifax on a 12-month deal.
Meanwhile, relegated Salford have snapped up highly-rated junior Richard Myler from Widnes.
The 17-year-old half-back, who broke into the Vikings' first team towards the end of the season, has signed for the Reds on a three-year deal.
"I'm determined to make it in rugby league, play at the highest level and be the best I can be," he said. "I'm sure that I'll get to play Super League rugby with the Reds."
Myler will play for England's Under-17s against the Australian Institute of Sport later this year.
