New Wakefield Wildcats recruit Paul Johnson will make his first outing for the club in their pre-season friendly at Hunslet on Sunday.
The former Wigan, Bradford and Warrington centre will appear alongside captain Jason Demetriou, who was absent from the trial games against Castleford and Wigan as he recovered from knee surgery.
Coach John Kear said: "Jason's rehabilitation process has gone well but we didn't want to rush him while we've just been waiting to give Paul his chance to run out."
Demetriou will start the game at loose forward while Johnson will be in the line-up in the second row.
Both players will be bidding for a spot in Wakefield's opening engage Super League match against Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop on Saturday January 30.
