Bosc scores a try and kicks sevn goals in convincing victory
Dane Chisholm scored a hat-trick of tries to help France to a 46-10 win over Scotland in the European Championship in Perpignan.
Fielding an almost second string line-up, the Scots trailed just 28-10 before conceding three tries in the last eight minutes.
The French boasted 12 players from Catalan Dragons, although it was Melbourne Storm stand-off Chisholm who was their star performer.
Centre Jean-Philippe Baile scored twice for the hosts and other tries came from Vincent Duport, Thomas Bosc, who also kicked seven goals from eight attempts, and Mathias Pala.
Scotland's tries came from Dave Arnot, the London Skolars centre from Fife, and an 80-metre interception by debutant Ben Hellewell of Warrington.
"The game just went on 20 minutes too long for us," admitted Scotland skipper Andrew Henderson.
"We were light in the forwards while their pack were big and strong and got over the top of us. But the young blokes should be proud of their efforts."
