Former GB prop takes on general manager position
Former Hull, Castleford, Leeds and Great Britain prop forward Lee Crooks has been appointed as general manager of leading Championship club Featherstone.
In a newly-created role, Crooks will work alongside coaches Daryl Powell and Ryan Sheridan to maximise Rovers' youth development system as well as strengthening links with the local community.
"Having an opportunity to get back into rugby league was something I couldn't refuse," Crooks said.
Featherstone chief executive Craig Poskitt added: "To realise our Super League ambitions we must operate like a Super League club at all levels of the business and Lee will play a major part in our growth."
