Super League: Winger Luke George to leave relegated Bradford Bulls

Bradford Bulls winger Luke George is mulling over his options after being told he will be leaving the relegated club at the end of the season.
The former Huddersfield Giants man penned a two-year at the start of the campaign, but the club’s drop from the top flight means the second year of his deal is now void.
George has not been offered a new deal at Provident Stadium and the 26-year-old is considering his future in the game - which also includes the possibility of going part time.
“I’m happy to move on from the club and even rugby in general,” George told the Telegraph & Argus.
“I’ve got other options with regards to moving on in my career with rugby but also without it.
No decision
“I’ve not made any decisions yet about what direction I want to go in but I used to work in solicitors’ offices when I was younger.
“I’ve got that background and could potentially go back to that but I’m just going to leave it open for now. Finances are a factor and I’d have to think about what I’d want out of it.”
Despite an injury-disrupted campaign at Odsal, George added: “I’ve enjoyed most of the time that I’ve had here.
“Obviously I can’t say I’ve enjoyed it all because of the injuries I’ve had and not playing. It is what it is and I’ve played the games I’ve played and sat out the others.
“But at the end of the day it’s time to move on and that’s what I’m going to do. I’m just accepting of it.”
