Mickey Paea will appear before a disciplinary hearing on Tuesday after being accused of raising his knees in a tackle during Hull’s Super League game against Leeds on Thursday.
The Hull prop has been charged with a Grade B offence, which carries a ban of one or two matches, after it was considered by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel on Monday.
Paea was involved in an incident involving Leeds loose forward Jamie Jones-Buchanan during his side's 43-12 defeat at the KC Stadium.
Meanwhile, Catalans Dragons’ coach Laurent Frayssinous is unhappy that Salford forward Lama Tasi escaped a charge following Saturday’s clash between the teams which ended in a draw.
Frayssinous was angered by Tasi’s tackle which left Todd Carney with a broken rib.
Referee Phil Bentham ruled that Tasi was committed to the tackle and his stance has been supported by the panel.
Frayssinous said: "That is ridiculous. I've got my best player out for a month and there is no charge. They have said the contact was accidental but they must be kidding. It was definitely deliberate.
“Lama Tasi should be out for two months. I need to give the chairman of the panel a ring."
