Hull KR have offered their supporters who travelled to Wigan for Friday's 60-0 Super League defeat the chance of a free ticket for a repeat of the fixture in a fortnight's time.
An under-strength Robins side were hammered as the Warriors ran in 11 tries at the DW Stadium in the Super League clash and they will be back at the ground on May 15 for a Challenge Cup tie.
Some of the Rovers fans who made the journey on Friday evening lightened the mood by doing the conga around the ground as the final whistle approached and coach Chris Chester wants to reward their loyalty.
"We've had a chat as a club and have decided that the right thing to do as a one-off is to pay for the fans who made the trip on Friday a ticket to the cup game in two weeks," he said.
"That's a massive game for us so we want to take a big and noisy following and make it a real cup tie. As I've already said I am confident it will be a totally different game to what we saw on Friday."
Chief executive Mike Smith added: "Friday was a tough day for everyone at the club but the unwavering support coming from the away end of the DW Stadium was nothing short of phenomenal.
"We know fans pay their hard-earned money to follow us home and away and we never take that for granted.
"That was our fourth away game in a row on the back of an expensive weekend away to Catalans for many and it would have been easy for them to stay at home and watch it on TV.
"Sport is of course notorious for having ups and downs so we certainly don’t intend to make this a precedent but we felt we had to do something to thank those fans for their ongoing support as a one-off gesture because of these unique circumstances.”
